Note: This is a project position funded for two years. The listed salary does not include the 5% dual language pay for this position. What You Will Be Doing:
As an Environmental Planner 2, you will contribute to CHA’s mission by developing, coordinating, and facilitating planning processes for environmental resource plans, programs, policies, and regulations. You will promote the CHA brand, maintain a positive public image, and build strong relationships with agency partners and community members. Your responsibilities will include researching and analyzing complex issues, creating and updating educational materials, conducting customer outreach, identifying service issues, and developing recommendations to meet P2 Grant funding requirements as outlined by the EPA and the Department of Ecology. Additionally, you will address CHA’s data needs by engaging with the Latino community, small businesses, and NGOs to understand their beliefs and needs related to environmental, economic, financial, or natural resources as guided by the P2 Grant. You will prepare data summaries, create reports, develop performance metrics, and conduct complex analytical research to support grant reporting and agency performance. This role requires independent judgment and operates with limited supervision.
