Fifth in a series of media briefings through November 2022 where State Superintendent Chris Reykdal will unveil policy and budget priorities to transform Washington’s K–12 public schools. This briefing will focus on Superintendent Reykdal’s proposal to ensure all students have access to opportunities to earn dual credit and industry recognized credentials at no cost to the student or their family.

Who: State Superintendent Chris Reykdal

What: Superintendent Reykdal will describe his proposal to the Legislature to ensure all of Washington’s public-school students have access to dual credit opportunities – programs where students can earn college and high school credit at the same time – at no additional cost to the student or their family.
