Next Lunch & Learn to feature state's Chief Administrative Law Judge
Lorraine Lee, Chief Administrative Law Judge and Director of the Washington State Office of Administrative Hearings will speak at the next Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, December 10. Judge Lee will share her experience becoming American as an immigrant who has lived and worked in diverse places and work environments. Lee is also the executive sponsor of the Washington Immigrants Network, a state business resource group.
The Lunch & Learn will begin at noon at the Labor & Industries Building in Tumwater. Please pre-register for the Lunch and Learn. If you are unable to attend in person, we will stream via Facebook live.

Our LLN board meetings are where the real action takes place and is a great way to connect with colleagues from other agencies. The LLN executive board plans and coordinates activities for members and contributes to state equity and inclusion. If you would like to find out how to get involved, reach out via email. Becoming active on the LLN board of directors or a committee
Helping with communications
Promoting LLN and its events to Latinos at your agency
Helping organize or assist at events

OAH is currently looking to fill two Legal Assistant 2 positions in the Seattle Field Office. The position of LA2 is critical to the successful completion of the OAH mission. This position contributes to the mission by providing support services to the agency, including scheduling and case management. The position prioritizes workload to ensure the agency meets its mission and goals. The LA2 works with a team of Administrative Law Judges (ALJs), Legal Assistants (LAs), and Legal Office Assistants (LOAs) on scheduling and managing caseloads and handling related files.

OMWBE is seeking an Assistant Director of Legislative Affairs to implement the agency's legislative efforts during session. Additionally, this position will direct a comprehensive legislative strategy and deployment that supports OMWBE's mission to promote equity and increases participation in public contracting and procurement for small businesses owned by minorities, women, and disadvantaged persons through education and outreach.
