Help shape DDA projects – Join the Show & Share conversation
Please join DDA Thursday evening, Feb.10 to help guide our work on projects that may affect your life or someone you care about. This Thursday, we’ll hold group conversations in project breakout rooms to gather feedback from you.
If you’re not sure which project room to join, ask yourself:
Is affordable and accessible housing for adults with developmental disabilities hard to find? Bring your challenges and ideas to our Affordable Housing Study room.
Do guardianship laws or professional guardian payments limit your choices and ability to live the life you want? The Guardianship Laws Report room might interest you.
Do you struggle to find well-trained doctors, dentists, and other healthcare professionals to serve you? Bring your issues and ideas for creating more disability awareness and competency through Healthcare Student Training efforts.
Are you affected by a lack of staff or staff turnover in residential settings? Help us identify ways to improve Provider Recruitment.
Do you have experience with providers who do not know how to support or work with people with an intellectual or developmental disability and behavioral health condition? Please tell us more in the IDD & Behavioral Health Best Practices room.
How do we make sure everyone is getting the support they need, no matter what type of residential setting they live in? Join the conversation in the Quality in Residential Settings room.
How would freeing up case managers’ time to better serve you, improve your services and your life? Tell us in the Smaller Caseloads Report room.
Zoom in to share your experience and ideas. We would love your input!
