LLN Board Gaining Strength
The LLN executive committee has been working diligently this summer, including recruitment of several members to board positions.
Rubi Reaume (Department of Retirement Systems) has been selected as Associate Chair of the Planning Committee and has already begun supporting the work of LLN’s Best Practices Committee.
Jovita Ramirez (Health Care Authority), Associate Chair of the LLN Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, has been joined by Steve Camerer (Department of Enterprise Services) as the committee’s co-chair.
Indira Melgarejo (Department of Enterprise Services), who has been assisting LLN in member outreach this year, has stepped in to lead LLN’s Health & Wellness Committee, which will benefit from her background as a psychologist.
Veronica Hand (Labor & Industries), who has been an active board member, is now serving as an At-Large Associate Chair to represent LLN as a liaison to the state’s other business resource groups (BRGs). She is already immersed in representing LLN in plans for a virtual summit of BRGs. Details about that event will be shared soon.
More names will be added soon to the LLN board…maybe yours? Board members gain valuable experience that adds to their resume and expands their professional network while supporting a diverse workforce in state government. This volunteer service is allowed on state time.
Where would you fit on the LLN board?
